How it's Made. Trinket dishes are made by cutting 3mm thick colored glass and capping it with 3mm thick clear glass for both the top and the chimes. The pieces are fused together in my glass kiln to around 1420 degrees, making the completed piece 6mm thick and very durable after fusing. The pieces are then returned to the kiln for a second firing to kiln form to shape, then are drilled and strung. Kiln firings take 12-18 hours to complete, which each jellyfish taking over 36 hours to make start to finish.
Handmade in Tacoma, WA using items sourced from US companies wherever possible.
