Fused glass combined with driftwood to create a unique windchime
11" x 7"
IMPORTANT NOTE: This piece is part of an ongoing exhibition at Seymour Conservatory in Tacoma. It is NOT available for pickup or delivery until after August 15. It will be held for you through the end of the exhibition and the artist will reach out for coordinating pickup/delivery at that time.
How it's Made. The glass for the windchimes are made by cutting 3mm thick colored glass and capping it with 3mm thick clear glass for both the top and the chimes. The pieces are fused together in my glass kiln to around 1420 degrees, making the completed piece 6mm thick and very durable after fusing. The driftwood is treated with shellac.
Handmade in Tacoma, WA using items sourced from US companies wherever possible.

Hanging: Use cup hook or other permanent method if hanging indoors. Garden hook is preferred for outdoor use. Pick a cute one to go with your windchime!
Indoor display is recommended in high-wind/inclement weather or when outdoor temperatures get below freezing.
Cleaning: Dust using a microfiber cloth as needed. Use 70%+ isopropyl alcohol for deeper clean.
